Sony Pictures Television (SPT), Sony Music Entertainment (SME) and Latin American independent producer 360 PowWow are planning a new series about marriage.
360 PowWow will feature a non-headlining show with SPT and Sony Music's premium content segment to be distributed by SPT. This week, the companies are introducing the format to buyers at Content America.
As explained, "In each episode, a team of professionals organizes a happy couple's wedding with the help of friends, family and a music star to make the best day of their lives even better."
During the week, the series explores the lives of the couple as they witness the biggest surprise secret event awaiting the bride and groom: Latin music artist Sonny gives a one-of-a-kind performance on their wedding day.
"Buyers want great content. With this expanded format, we're helping deserving couples celebrate their day with their favorite musicians while giving viewers a glimpse into the wedding," said Selina Nederhand, network senior vice president and content strategy. and acquisitions at SPT LATAM.
